Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu received a lot of attention in the last months of December 2015 and it wasn’t necessarily for all the right reasons.

The “Alakada” star was going through hard times as her husband, Adeniyi Johnson was cheating on her with a member of her staff which led her to move out of her matrimonial home and change her name to Miss.

Toyin has since relocated to Ibadan and is allegedly in a relationship with Seun Egbegbe, a popular filmmaker.

When the marriage of “Gongo Aso” hit maker 9ice to Toni Payne crashed back in 2010, many could not understand what had caused the failed marriage but one thing we did know was that there was allegations of cheatings.

Six years down the line and the lovers have reconciled their differences but 9ice is now married to another woman while Toni says she has learnt from that experience.

Popular vlogger and fashion icon, Toke Makinwa faced her own marital woes when her husband of less than a year, Maje Ayida impregnated his ex-girlfriend.

The media girl was so heartbroken that just like Toyin Aimakhu, she also moved out of her matrimonial home. They have however been able to patch the broken pieces of their marriage and giving it another shot.

2 Face might have sang the classic hit song “African Queen” but we all know that he has had him more than one fair share of African beauties and we all hoped that was going to stop following his marriage to Annie idibia.

To his credit, the couple seemed genuinely happy until photos of 2 Face kissing one of his babymamas, Pero hit the internet and we all realized that he might have been playing some away matches without Annie’s knowledge. Annie and 2 Face were able to weather the storm and are still together till date.

It came as a big shock to many when Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim announced that her marriage to Kwadwo Safo Katanka had hit the rocks after four years of what seemed liked marital bliss.

During the split, there were allegations that Juliet was cheating on her husband with Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna and that the infidelities had been part of what led to the crash of the marriage.

Nollywood sweetheart Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has one of the longest lasting celebrity marriages of all times so it was a bit shocking for a lot of people when an Instagram user accused the actress’ husband of cheating on Omotola.

According to the Instagram user, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, he was cheating on Omotola the same way the actress was cheating on him. Omotola’s response that the anonymous accuser provide evidence only made it seem like she herself might have been suspecting him of cheating.  

FUNKE AKINDELE

Popular actress Funke Akindele who became a household name with her mega box office hit “Jenifa” left her matrimonial home less than a year after getting married and according to sources, it was because her ex-husband Kehinde Oloyede impregnated another woman.

The marriage is one of the shortest celebrity marriages on record and till date many are still wondering what she was thinking by getting married to him.
